For those Freepers who are not able to do their own research: Go to the web page of Kenny Marchant,Texas 24th district, and click on the little link thingy that says "Full Legislative Text Of TPA". You may then download the damn thing and read it. It has never been a secret, in spite of what all the Jebbie's say. This is what was passed on Friday. It is not a trade bill. I repeat, IT IS NOT A TRADE BILL. The big super dooper trade bill, the TPP, has not been voted on. It is not yet finalized. Ted Cruz did not endorse it. Get back to me if you can't figure out how to read it.

Well, I followed the link at post #4 and looked at the “one page summary”.
It’s filled with personal opinions, phrases like “That’s why we need TPA”. I still don’t know if the TPA is a good thing or not. But I wanted to see just facts there, not propaganda. And that one page summary is pure propaganda.
Maybe the entire bill is more sensible. But I’m so put off by the summary that I don’t care to read any further.
TPA (Trade Promotion Authority) is the linked bill. TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership) is what’s still being negotiated. Two different things.

The TPA runs for 6 years which will include the first term of the Ted Cruz Presidency. Could we pass a TPA in 2017? Maybe. Maybe not. Better to do it now and get it out of the way.
And following that just vote NO on the Obama Trade Bill.
That’s the Cruz strategy. It’s seem to be a bit too much for people to absorb. It turn out to be a lot easier if you take the time to read past the Headlines.
Trust me, Cruz has definetly not gone over to the Obama Camp. He knows exactly what he is doing.
You better cite what your claim is. All I see is section 207 which is dealing with healthcare credits in regards to impact by trade agreements cited on page 135.
