Don't forget, good fellas’ was based on the non-fiction book by Henry Hill who is portrayed by Ray Liota and is realistic to the way the mob operates. It's definitely in my top 10 along with the first two Godfather movies which are in the 1 and 2 slot for me.

I abhor mafia/gangster movies of recent times. Glorifying these monsters is not entertainment. I didn't think the movie was great, but the best thing about it is that the characters are portrayed as anything but glamorous. My conclusion at the end was "Why didn't they just go legit? They spent so much effort to be criminals they could have had a much easier life with a normal job."
