I might just sit on it. No way will I risk losing the use of my software. Can't afford new versions.

I can't see how I would gain anything, I was very happy with XP.

If I didn't have classic shell 8.1 would drive me nuts. I don't use the preloaded apps.

W10 is free if you have 7 or 8. The interface has the best of both 7 and 8 and is more keyboard/mouse friendly then 8.
