I've thought that Scott Walker had a weeerd smell, since he first started making noises about running. Call it intuition, maybe bits and pieces of data gleaned here and there, or the fact that he was a huge Mitt supporter the last go-round.
Dunno, but the guy has never struck me as being one of 'us'.
Cruz, on the other hand, pinged all of my patriot conservative receptors from day one - and still does.
Is that right? Well then, that's just one more reason for me to distrust the guy.
Big Mitt supporter, Priebus buddy, and now Rove's machine is backing him. If that doesn't spell G.O.P.-E., I don't know what does.
Anyone that backs a liberal isn’t a conservative and thus not one of us by definition. Us being Americans. Walker did so openly and with gusto. Ergo he is scum, just as any other vocal supporter of liberals.
I have noticed with many across the board. I really do wish people would understand theses are applicants to be our employees and not rock stars or religiouse leaders. I will take whitch ever one has the highest chance of putting us back on track. Extra points if they are liberty minded. By definition big government republicans or democrats are not for individual liberty. I want them to leave me, my family and my money alone. I’m tired of being forced, by threat of violence, to pay for the young, old, lazy, and illegal.
I'd like to see that as the first paragraph of an editorial about why Walker is the wrong guy for America in this time. It neatly encapsulates the most fundamental aspects of who he really is.
Walker didn't merely give in to political reality in 2012 (as so many conservative voters did), but looked at Romney and thought, "Now, that's my kind of guy!"
I'm telling you, he haz a weeerd smell.
So do the liberals backing him. funny how they are made up of Perrybots and other ‘lesser evils’. Almost as if there was some connection...BUT WHAT?????
Birds of a feather and all that. history repeating...lots of comparative phrases to employ.
My discomfort with Walker is about how he has been running for office all this time, he is obviously a hell of a campaign animal.
I am admittedly ignorant on Wisconsin politics therefore, I have to wonder, what does he owe the establishment in DC?
His everything.
Back before my husband and I really got interested in the campaigns, we were watching Walker being interviewed. I immediately noticed his eyes.
I asked my husband what he thought. My husband is retire federal law enforcement and has conducted countless interrogations. He said he wouldn’t vote for the guy, period.
He and I both believe Cruz is the real deal.
I enjoyed your post.
If he throws in with Rove, we will know who he truly is.
Good ol’ Karl was all over Walker’s campaign for Governor.
