According to sources, the 'Rolling In The Deep' hit-maker, who won an Academy Award, Golden Globe and a BRIT for 'Skyfall,' is one of the few artists who were asked to write and record the title track for ' Spectre,' reported the Daily Star.

Good for her! Can’t wait! “Skyfall” is one of my fave cool down tunes.
I know of her only because Rolling in the Deep was the song my daughter’s tap class performed to last year. I loved the song, her voice and the dance (of course!).
Real talent rather than provocative dress and behavior getting her ahead. Unless there’s more to her than I know.
Nope...you’ve pretty much nailed it. She is, to the best of my knowledge, a class act.
“She is, to the best of my knowledge, a class act.”
Agree.
Skyfall song was good but I think songwriters today have become too careful, too anal, they really don’t let loose and I really think it’s because too much attention is paid towards music today. I mean it’s just freakin’ music, sound, and they treat it like it’s the savior of all mankind. Enough already, all the freakin awards and over the top promotion of these mediocre “stars”. Music is best when it is in the background, not front and center in your face otherwise it becomes pretentious. For example I read the other day on Wikipedia the theme to Goldfinger was a take off of the song Moon River which was a hit back then. Gold finger - Moon river had the same syllables so they used the same melody but changed it after that, I thought that was pretty cool. It seems you do that today though you get your ass sued off.
I love Adele. But since she can’t say the letter L, Skyfaww was not the best choice for her to sing.
” Let the sky faww
When it crumbuwws
We will stand taww
Face it aw together”
Hope this one is better.
What the “L”!
So, is her name pronounced a-dew-e or a-dew?
LOL
Thanks. Nice to know so I can let my daughters listen to her music.
Love the songwriting duo of Epworth and Adele.... Fantastic News!
Cockney accent, perhaps?
She pronounces her name A-deww. ;)
Cockney accent, perhaps?
Oh yes.
However, she has a beautiful voice and puts all her emotion into her singing. I’d pay to hear her.
My son with special needs is 12 and can’t say L either very well. I showed her to him and told him, see? Hasn’t stopped her! She’s a multi millionaire doing what she loves!
I love a good success story.
I found out about Adele right here on FR when somebody posted about her ranting over the taxes she had to pay after hitting it big. Someone posted a link to Rolling in the Deep and I was hooked. Bought her albums and just LOVE her voice. My sons girlfriend has a great voice, so I learned ‘Right as Rain’ on my guitar so she could sing it. Fun!
