A personal fave tonight. Billy Wilder and Raymond Chandler's superb film noir of a femme fatale (Barbara Stanwick) who draws an unscrupulous insurance salesman (Fred MacMurray) into her arms and into her plans to rid herself of a troublesome husband...

Why Thank You! ;-)
BTW, Zippcast can be kind of cranky when loading - they haven’t worked the bugs out, apparently. If the video doesn’t play, try reloading the screen.
Thank you!
Me too. Have watched it multiple time.
“I wonder if I know what you mean?”
“I wonder if you wonder.”
Perfection.
I love the dialogue in this movie.
Good movie - Edward G. Robinson is super....
Great movie! thanks.
Yes, Fred MacMurray was very underrated.
Great movie! thanks.
Yes, Fred MacMurray was very underrated.
Yes and I had never seen him in a movie until ths one. I knew him as the dad on my three sons. Also the model for Shazam.
I recommend the “Cain Mutiny”, in which he was very good.
I wanted to watch a movie tonight and that filled the bill. Thanks.
An enduring classic that's held up well over the years. In both "Double Indemnity" and "Cain Mutiny", Fred MacMurray plays the heavy very well. In the latter, he's scheming all the while and deserved the champagne in the face at the end. For those who only know his avuncular side from "My Three Sons", he was a superb serious actor. And I think the picture below captures that aspect of him well.
D.I. is one of the five best movies ever made.
The dialogue in those movies was amazing.
Well put.
Other than the Cain Mutiny and a few other films, he sure was a likeable guy.
