After last week’s shocking admission that he’d molested his sisters as a teenager, former “19 Kids and Counting” star Josh Duggar has put his parents in quite a pickle.

According to Gawker, who was able grab a screen shot of Duggar’s old campaign website via web cache, Duggar had this to say about the taboo subject: “… rape and incest represent heinous crimes and as such should be treated as capital crimes.”

I read the police report. I know it was expunged. Now you tell me, who can molest 5 kids and have that done? Who? That don’t seem strange to you?
BTW..for a record that was to be “expunged” funny InTouch found it by a FOIA. Even more strange it just happen to turn up don’t you think?
I've been asking the people screaming here the same questions on another thread. I've asked what they would've done. I haven't received an answer past "call the police."
You're right - this is a far more complicated situation because the boy was 14. It's not as if the police would've locked him up for good.
The report was redacted, so you know very little. The speed at which the report was expunged means it would have been covered under an expungement order already in effect. you know a whole lot of stuff in the news but few facts.
Are you inferring that the Duggars are religious nutjobs?
Because if you are, there are still an awful lot of people on this forum, who despite what has happened in the Duggar family, still believe the same things the Duggars believe.
Are you inferring that the Duggars told their daughters that THEY were responsible?
Because if so, that could be grounds for libel.

The incidents described in the police report about the Duggar son were disturbing and alarming.

I thought it was more touchy-feely, not really incest. The liberal hypocrites are crawling into the light for this one.
No, it wasn’t “sexual relations.” Everyone has different definitions. I think the Duggars dealt with the situation correctly. The whole thing would have been more traumatic dealing with secular/public counseling. They didn’t let the kid get away with anything.
The libs did get something out of this, of course, which is the Duggars off the air.

It started when he was fourteen, after catching him three times the parents finally got him to stop when he was fifteen.
So this was a highschool kid groping small children.
I was never a fan of the show. But, people out there seem almost gleeful about this story and happy to see this family in a bad light.

He removed the underclothing of the four year old sister and forcibly fondled her naked vagina. He was almost 16 then. It was written down as a felony which implies digital rape.
The molestations we know of went on for over two years, when he was 14 and 15.
Dunham was 7, her sister was 2. Josh Duggar was 15 when he took his 4 year old sisters underpants off in the laundry room to stick his fingers in her crotch.
The minor who Josh molested went before a judge two days after the story came out, ask for it to be expunged and her request was granted that afternoon.
I’m wondering if one of the son in laws brought it out.
