Last night I watched video of a Seattle City Council hearing in which they were discussing new rules governing the neighborhoods in which the Tent City will be allowed to camp. (The Tent City is a roving group of homeless people who have been camping out in tents in various parts of the city for at least ten or fifteen years).

Our socialist councilwoman - Kshama Sawant - was pressing for the Tent City encampment to be allowed in virtually any city neighborhood. This is clearly not for any particular advantage it would bring to those people, but to "punish" the well-off by having their neighborhoods occupied by the homeless.

The left does not so much want to raise up the homeless, but to bring DOWN as many as possible so that they will be utterly dependent upon their masters. It is motivated by a passion for degeneracy and decline.

Well, don’t expect to see the tent city in the rich LIEberal Democrat neighborhoods!
