Donald Trump Will End Outsourcing If President

At the South Carolina Freedom Summit, Donald Trump said that he would impose a hefty 35 percent tariff on American multinational corporations like Ford Motor Company, in order to stop outsourcing to China and elsewhere. According to the Economic Policy Institute, between 2001 and 2013 the U.S. trade deficit with China cost 3.2 million jobs, with the majority of the losses coming from the manufacturing sector.

He’ll get a lot of traction on this issue. He may change the paradigm and the RINO’s may have to address the 40 year sell out which is a good thing.

The 3-5% excess profits garnered by using Chinese coolie goes to the stock holders not the consumer.

You do realize other countries outsource jobs here, what happens when they retaliate by pulling those jobs?,

The is the beauty of tariffs they can be used with laser precision.

Protectionism is awful. FDR (a Democrat) was a big protectionist. I think the real RINOs on FreeRepublic are those who believe in protectionism and “protecting the American worker”. That phrase even sounds commie.

If you could see the changes in the last 40 years you would think differently. You must be young.

"I do not believe Donald Trump in any way wants to “ban guns”."

CNN, what you believe isn't the issue. He SAID it:

"...but I support the ban on assault weapons"

How much plainer can he be?

Also, note that he said he "generally" opposes gun control. The definition of "generally" is: in most cases/usually. Not always. Which he proved in the next breath by saying he supports a BAN.
