Comedian, actress, singer and San Francisco native Margaret Cho is tackling topics like police brutality and racism on her upcoming tour.
Cho's "psyCHO Tour" is scheduled to stop at San Francisco's Castro Theatre on October 15.
"This show is about insanity, and about the anger I feel about everything happening in the world right now, from police brutality to racism to the rising tide of violence against women," Cho said in a statement. "When men go off on something - they are 'passionate' and 'driven' and when women go off on something we are 'hysterical' and 'crazy.' I'm trying to bring some joy to the hysteria and insanity.”
Cho announced in March that she was making a documentary of her efforts to raise money and awareness for San Francisco's homeless population, a campaign called #BeRobin in reference to the kindness of the late Robin Williams. Cho busked on the streets of San Francisco daily for two months, setting out a sign that said, "If you have, give; if you need, take (please remember your fellow man)."
Pre-sale tickets for the psyCHO Tour are available for 24 hours beginning at 10 a.m. on May 13; the general sale starts at noon on May 15.

Yes, she is. She was married to a man for over a decade (until 2014), but “identifies” as “gay” and “queer.” She is also Korean.

But how will the Muslim demographic view this explosion of female hostility? Isn’t Margaret Cho afraid of the reaction she will draw from militant Islamic Jihadists with this outburst?

I regard Korean women as beautiful but in her case I’m willing to make an exception.
