Cheating is cheating. Agree with the rule or not, footballs are supposed to be inflated to a common standard air pressure. The footballs should be in the hands of the refs before the game for both the home and away teams and outside the control of either team/equipment manager. It appears that there is evidence that Tom Brady was partly responsible for the underinflated balls in more than one game. He should face suspension for more than one game for breaking the rules.
This isn’t much different than baseball players taking steroids. The rule is there for fairness, so there should be punishment to follow.
