Bears and Tigers Escape From Zoo as Tornado Hits Oklahoma ('Nuff Said!)

Oklahoma has been hit by a series of tornadoes, causing widespread damage and allowing a number of exotic animals to escape.

Tigers, bears and other animals were able to make a brief escape from the Tiger Safari Park after a tornado hit the city of Tuttle, near Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma Police warned residents to stay indoors and call 911 if they saw the animals...

after Andrew in S Miami I would have though (1st mistake) that Zoos everywhere would have revamped for any type life changing storm possible in there area?

Tiger Safari Park? Tigers are found in Asia. I thought safaris were African.

It could be worse. If this had happened on one of those islands off Costa Rica with cloned dinosaurs, the locals would be dealing with escaped Spinosauruses. More dangerous than a T-rex, according to the documentary that was shown on TV last night (Jurassic Park III). I have survived a close encounter with a bear. I don't think I would survive a close encounter with a Spinosaurus.
