Natalie Portman will play Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in On the Basis of Sex, EW has confirmed. Deadline.com was first to report the news.
The film will follow Ginsburg’s life as she fights for equality in her career as the second (and first Jewish) female justice. Marielle Heller (The Diary of a Teenage Girl) is in negotiations to direct, with a script being written by Daniel Stiepleman.

in the book Domestic Tranquility: A Brief Against Feminism by F. Carolyn Graglia who was a peer of Ruth B-G at law school, Graglia stated that there never was a barrier against women in high end law. However there was a barrier against Jews at white shoe law firms and B-G ran into them.
Interesting read. The author writes well and gives some interesting perspective on feminism.

Natalie Portman, the genius who said Netanyahus “racism” of calling Arabs “Arabs” “horrified” her. Can’t say I remember her being “horrified” when these same “Arabs” kidnapped and killed 3 Jewish school kids last year in Israel. But isn’t that kind of thinking par for the course when it comes to Harvard grads? I think I have more respect for crackerjack online diplomas than I have for that toilet posing as a “college”. It’s Alumni reads like a who’s who of major F ups in this country, especially when it comes to education, government and politics. It might have been a great school 100 years ago, but today it’s an utter joke and a bane to this country where it’s grads should be banned from getting anywhere near anything having to do with those 3 areas. Thank you, but this country has enough liberal F ups as it is. Oh yes and I remember Natalie once said while going to Harvard that she was going because she “would rather be smart than be a movie star”. Well at least she’s still a movie star.
She has looks but no acting talent, imo.
Actually she is an Academy Award winner. There are only about 50 actresses who have one. So she is the top 50 actresses of all times in the history of films.
