How homely do you have to be to be mistaken for a wild hog?

I often wondered why the Obamas donn’t “do” wilderness trips..

this thread clears up those questions quite nicely...

A were-boar. You know how in the movies the werewolves always turn back into a human after they’re shot. If it was a silver bullet, case closed.

It took me a moment to realize this story was from India. The names could have been Finnish.

I was driving on a dirt road in Western Kansas around 1985. I happened to see a magnificent whitetail buck standing on a small bridge. I could see him and his rack perfectly.

A split second later, the deer turned into a person standing in the exact same spot.

How I could ever have made that error still escapes me. I was not even thinking of hunting or deer.

Eravalam Madura Katchikuppam ... Thirukovilur ... Parvathy ... wife of Subramanian of Katchikuppam

Is it just me or does Hindi seem like it buys vowels in bulk?

After a hung, they also used to sell the meat in Puducherry, Cuddalore and Villupuram.

Rather disrespectful of the poor woman.............

They say “habitual hunter” as if that’s a bad thing.

And how habitual can you be if you have to wait for fifteen guys to finish their turn with the sole shard gun before you get a shot?

“Ok, so tell me about yourself!”

“Well, I’m Mrs. Parvathy Subramanian of Katchikuppam village, near Thirukovilur, near the farm of Eravalam Madura Katchikuppam, and the forested areas of Ulundurpet, Rishivandhiyam, and Thiruvannamalai.”

Holy crap! Alphabet cereal or what!
