Kinda like Far Right for obvious reasons.
I hate when there’s such a large field. I hope a few drop out before post time.
Thanks for posting
Amurrican StudMuffin by 5 lengths.. UHhh American Pharaoh..
Two great websites for news and info on the Derby are:

And,

(this one includes free Past Performances)

I tend to agree but for betting purposes I’m leaning towards Mubtaahij.
Here is a direct link to an early version of the Past Performances. Post positions are incorrect, and many then-potential starters are included. However, the PPs of every horse who’s actually running in the race is there. All on a single PDF. They will likely have the official PPs up sometime Friday. Totally free.

“They” meaning...

Baffert has his best shot in years and he’s had some good horses (favorites usually) over the last several derby’s but has tended to come up short (beyrn, bodemiester). I think Dortmund is dangerous only if he doesn’t get caught up and lose momentum. He’s by far the biggest colt in the race at 17+ hands/1280pounds, Just a beast...
Dortmond will likely be burned up in a speed duel with with all the ‘cheap speed’ horses in the huge field. American Pharoah, IMO, has by far, the better chance. Seems the longer he goes, the better he does. I predict he’ll win by 3 going-away lengths.
Transgender? Oops, my mistake... Tencendur.
Go, California Chrome!!
Oh wait, that was last year.

#12, International Star (morning line: 20-1) is another outstanding closer with an excellent chance. Don’t expect 20-1 at post time however. Will probably go off about 10-1.

#16, War Story (morning line: 50-1), yet another good looking closer who could be part of triple, at a big price.

Awesome spot for Dortmund, #8.

#20, Far Right (morning line: 30-1), still another that comes from out-of-the-blue and may be flying at finish.

Re: Dortmund
Only if he sits off the pace, which he actually is capable of doing. Because if he tries to out-sprint the cheap speed horses, he’ll collapse in the stretch.
