The popular online streaming site Hulu has struck a $700,000-per-episode deal to offer reruns of Seinfeld, according to a report.
Hulu will make available all 180 episodes of Seinfeld, which ran on NBC for nine seasons.
Despite the Hulu deal, Seinfeld reruns will still air on cable network TBS.

The laugh track ruins Big Bang Theory. It is the only show I’ve ever seen where the laugh track is used on every line.
Hello, Sheldon.
(HA HA HA)
Leonard I need to talk to you...
(HA HA HA)
Why?
(HA HA HA HA HA HA)
Because Penny isn’t here.

That struck me, too. Yet the show has a live audience and they insist there is no “augmentation.” Either that’s a lie, or the audience is a bunch of trained seals. Haven’t decided which, yet.
“Hulu” Hate their commercials, like the content.
I am a trained seal and I watch Seinfeld every night!
STILL the funniest thing on TV.
$700,000 an episode, good for them! So much for your being Conservatives!
What do you care what other people make?
Impact on Crackle; I think it’s VuDu that is pushing its own standalone vid stick.
I’ll stick with Roku.
hulu used to be FREE.
You can buy the entire series for about $50 and have them anytime you want. Any episode you want.
Seinfeld has not aged well - very unwatchable now.
That said, on “ME” cable channel, “Cheers” and “Taxi” remain very enjoyable to watch - the former more so with Shelly Long, not the Kirstie Allie episodes.
Taxi’s “Jim” remains absolutely hilarious!
My streaming service is cheap. They only have the Super Terrific Happy Hour.
1. The trained seal comment had to do with Big Bang Theory.
2. I still like Seinfeld, too.
3. While I am a capitalist and don’t care what other people make, $700,000 per episode of a series that has been in syndication for decades is certainly remarkable.
“Nothing.”
How could anyone not like him?
That is why I dropped HULU, I don't like having to watch commercials.
I suspect we’ll soon see Hulu Extra Premium for a few dollars more per month to avoid the commercials.
Does anyone use Hulu with AdBlock Plus, or would that not work? Just wondering, I don’t see commercials even where the website apologizes for them. :)
I tried it via Chrome when we used to hook the PC up to the TV, and it worked at first and blocked the ads, but now you sit there watching black screen for the equivalent time the ad runs.
