I can build any house, high rise, tear a truck apart and put it back together, but I just can seem to understand the HTML in the help sectiin Can some one show me the text how to post a jpeg easy? Thank you
“Just whatever you do, make sure that it is super ginormous so we have to scroll over several times and down several times and still cant tell what the picture is.”
ROFLMAO! :)
I too can leap tall buildings in a single bound but am an idiot with html. I am practicing, but am pretty sure this is not going to post the picture. What am I doing wrong?
I uploaded the picture onto photobucket and then when uploaded right-clicked on my Mac and selected ‘copy link location’ and this is what I got. Seems like too much information. I don’t see an option to ‘hit html code’ like Yaelle mentioned. Thank you very much.
Why would you need a Photobucket account? You can just go to photosearch.com, or Google images for that matter, and just drag & click.
PING! LOL.
Next you got to learn this bit of html code.
<img src="post the link to your pic here">
The link or internet address of the pic must go between the quotation marks.
An easy way to post pics on the internet is to use Facebook. Then once you upload the pic to Facebook just R-click on the pic and use the Copy Image Location command then paste it into the html code on your Free Republic post.
It’s not photosearch, it’s fotosearch.com. After all the years that I’ve been playing with those copyright-free images, you’d thing I’d get the website right by now. Sorry, my mistake.
Thank you
Yur profile says yur a construction prostitute *-?
Oh my. Is that like a union steward?
God Bless!!
tinypic.com works great and it is free.
The info after the .png was not necessary. Just close up the .png"> like this and close up the caret on the left.
Oh and welcome to FR.
I never could figure it out until I used Tinypic.com
When you get your code working, copy it to your profile page (edit) and then until it’s memorized, just copy and paste from the edit page view. I have mine there since I do it so rarely and short term memory is very particular.
Thanks. I do not know who runs the sandbox.
sweet gif. I saved it. I’m a picture, paper, and sharpee hoarder.
Seems like all I managed to do is link to my photobucket account. bummers
