A volcano in Chile ...
A few hours ago Volcano Calbuco in southern Chile erupted for the first time in nearly 40 years.
According to CNN Chile, a Red Alert was issued for the surrounding area. An estimated 1500 people are being asked to evacuate within a six mile radius.
“The eruption happened about half an hour ago, Derek Way, a nearby resident told Reuters earlier in the day. “There are a lot of people out in the streets, many heading to the gas stations to fill up on gas.”
Mayor Gervoy Paredes told the BBC that residents were “very, very frightened.”
Neighboring Argentina also put its citizens on alert, specifically in the city of Bariloche that sits about 100km from Calbuco. Ash clouds are expected to hit the city tonight.
Authorities also noted to the BBC that “no hot rocks or lava had been seen so far, only ash. However, experts warned that local rivers could be flooded by melting snow and ice.”

God put out more pollution in a single day than all of the manmade devices and factories could have in a year. I’m waiting for an executive order from Obama ordering God to stop the pollution, with a cc to the UN. You may or not believe in God or that something “huge” is “out there.” But this does underscore the relative “size and importance” of mankind. When global warming nuts run amuck they are only demonstrating an ego far greater than their tiny footprint on an earth and in a universe they consider their equal and Capable of defeating. Just laugh at their insanity as you would a dog chasing its tail...then move away...liberalism is just anither strain like rabies...it causes madness and it transmitted from those infected to those still sane.
