This reparation bull$hit is getting so out of hand. I figure I’ve been Paying a 1/4 to 1/3 of my wages to taxes so they can hand out it a sizeable chunk to welfare recipients. I figure 35 + years of doing that has more than paid for it. If they make us pay reparations I say make the payments out to their dead ancestors who suffered no them. They’ve lived the cush life on the backs of others.
It smells like an attempt to revive the concept of “bills of attainder.”

I’ve never owned any slaves and I don’t know anyone who has ever been a slave.
I can understand someone trying to scam/game the system for “reparations”. Folks are always looking to get more out of a given system. That’s basic greed. I get that. It’s one of the basic motivations. So, while I may not agree with their premise or point of view, I don’t really have a problem with them making the attempt.
What I *do* have a problem with is when they cop an attitude simply because I tell them “No” and expose their scam for what it is.

Lol! Yeah for sure. Seems to me Ben should apologize for his ancestors behavior. And, should personally pay reparations to the ancestors of his ancestor’s slaves. Make right on all that white entitlement he and his family have been privy to :)
Reparations are already being paid. Shut down gov/assisted housing, welfare, food stamps and EDT cards and you’ll see who’s already receiving them.

Ah but this clashes with the background put out in “Batman Begins” (2005) that back in the day the Wayne’s used what would become the bat cave as a hiding place for escaped slaves on the underground railroad IIRC.
