The federal crime statistics in a table below are a rebuttal to
lies that crime is almost entirely white police, white neighborhood watch, and whites in general violence against Black Americans.
The Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program and the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) have long made it publicly known -- if only the lies weren't so profitable -- that
The race-grievance industry, Obama-Holder demagogues, and MSM employees obviously profit from lies.. truth tellers are not outliers!
It's the race-grievance industry, Obama-Holder demagogues, and MSM employees who are the out-and-out liars.
I will appreciate any corrections but I will not debate NCVS Table 42 data. I am aware of the controversy raised and I have included extra links to address it.
(There are a lot of vacant buckets.. if you know where there's federal government data for those buckets I'll see if I can add the data to the table.)
Earlier posts: Table of federal government economic data covering past several decades and Obama. here
|
Note: the NCVS for 2009 and beyond compare current year's crime numbers to a year during the Bush Administration and to the prior year in the Obama Administration. The degree of detail vis-a-vis crime is greatly reduced and there is no Table 42 for 2009 and beyond. See footnote c. But there is this the NCVS victimization Analysis Tool (NVAT) separate from the annual reports. Still no Table 42 race of victim/race of offender data that I could find.
See more NCVS information below.

I wanted to include ILLEGAL alien crime using federal government sources but ..
HOVER table column contents for additional data.

For example Table 1 Violent victimization, by type of violent crime, 2003, 2011, and 2012 in Criminal victimization, 2012 dated October 2013 shows the figures for 2003 as
- Rape/sexual assault
- 325,310
- Robbery
- 708,380
- Assault
- 6,645,360
- Aggravated assault 1,362,270
- Simple assault 5,283,100
However the numbers used in Criminal victimization, 2012 for NCVS 2003 statistics may be coming from the NCVS victimization Analysis Tool (NVAT) on the BJS website and not the actual report; for example the Criminal victimization in the United States, 2003 Statistical Tables Table 42 shows
- Rape/sexual assault (single-offender victimizations) as white victim 131,030 and black victim 24,010 --
- even if you add in multiple-offender victimizations numbers (29,500) that's still less than 325,310.
Even with the NCVS victimization Analysis Tool (NVAT) I cannot find data provided pre-2009 by Table 42 Percent distribution of single-offender victimizations, based on race of victims, by type of crime and perceived race of offender. If those data lacked 95% degree of confidence then why not eliminate all such data -- if degrees of confidence was the real reason to eliminate Table 42 and not the embarrassing black-on-white vs. white-on-black sexual and other violent crimes? If the data are still there for the public to see I will gladly thank Attorney General Holder for honest race relations talk. But the data are contrary to the lucrative race-grievance industry, et al. claims and are likely now hidden from the Public.

I wanted to use federal data and include ILLEGAL alien crime but as a very informative study (Effects of Illegal Immigration Upon Crime In the United States) pointed out
"[T]he United States government does not readily keep statistics with regard to crimes committed by illegal immigrants. . . there exists a legal obligation [on federal agencies] . . . to report accurately [; e.g.,] the Office of Immigration Statistics, the Bureau of Justice Statistics, and the Government Accountability Office . . . the agencies [provide] raw statistical data with regard to incarcerations, criminal removals (deportations) and arrest information involving illegal immigrants [but as for data on] nationwide criminal prosecutions and convictions of illegal immigrants . . . no such information is kept and reported by the government . . . [in fact illegal alien crimes regularly result in] the criminal removal process rather than prosecuted with the intent to incarcerate them.
However the study did find that information about removal in lieu of prosecution and incarceration of illegal aliens can be seen in the
These provide raw statistical data because the statistics are broken down between criminal removals and non-criminal removals. Example: Table 41. ALIENS REMOVED BY CRIMINAL STATUS AND REGION AND COUNTRY OF NATIONALITY: FISCAL YEARS 2003 TO 2012

Emphasis on survey not police reports. The U.S. Department of Justice administers two statistical programs to measure the magnitude, nature, and impact of crime in the nation: the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program and the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS).
"NCVS is the nation's primary source of information on criminal victimization. Each year, data are obtained from a nationally representative sample of about 90,000 households, comprising nearly 160,000 persons, on the frequency, characteristics, and consequences of criminal victimization in the United States. Each household is interviewed twice during the year. The survey enables BJS to estimate the likelihood of victimization by rape or sexual assault, robbery, aggravated and simple assault, theft, household burglary, and motor vehicle theft for the population as a whole as well as for segments of the population such as women, the elderly, members of various racial or ethnic groups, city dwellers, and other groups. The NCVS provides the largest national forum for victims to describe the impact of crime and characteristics of violent offenders."
An overall redesign of the victimization survey and the interpretation were developed during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
"The NCVS was fully implemented in 1993 with 70,707 households and 136,747 individuals interviewed. Because the cost of conducting the NCVS grew while congressional funding remained essentially flat for BJS, sample size cuts were implemented to the NCVS over the subsequent 15 years: 12 percent in 1996, 4 percent in 2002, 16 percent in 2006, and 14 percent in 2007 . . . increased funding for the NCVS, [after which] sample sizes were raised. In 2011, 79,802 households and 143,122 individuals were interviewed." See http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK202265/
It might explain why so many *'s in the NCVS Table 42 data and why the sexual assault data are so controversial. It's been that way for decades but apparently the Obama-Holder Dept. of Just Us stopped making the information public in 2009 -- and if that was the reason why then so much for honest discussions of race.
"In the course of twice-a-year interviews conducted with more than 125,000 people each year in the National Crime Survey, only about 100 cases of rape or attempted rape are reported. When the sample is compared to the size of the general population, it is estimated that each reported incident represents about 1,200 rapes or rape attempts that took place across the country. Nevertheless, 100 cases are too few for detailed statistical analysis. To obtain enough information for a detailed examination of the crime of rape, all cases of female rape reported in the National Crime Survey from 1973 through 1982 were aggregated into a single data set. The set consists of 1,082 cases representing a national total of 1.5 million instances of rape or attempted rape during the decade."source U.S. Department of Justice pdf file

Whew! You put a lot of effort into that! But sadly, statistical proof does not trump Magic Thinking. The race hustle grievance industry runs on Magic Thinking, fueled by emotive responses manipulated out of dumbed down people.
...and so are property and gasoline prices as people move farther and farther out of cities, even rundown suburban areas, to find a safe haven.
Statistics!??!! We don't need no stinkin' statistics!!
statistics don’t mean crap when your an angry black person hell bent on ignoring the law
Thanks for assembling this. Must have been hours of work.
I have some of this stuff in separate files, but it is very good to have it all together.

Have to look at rates not numbers. Post failed before it started.
Yes. But I can now challenge them to look up UCR, NCVS, NIBRS, LEOKA, and ARD then tell me why they feeeeeeeeeeeeel as they do.
Of course they won't do it. It's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to Sharpton or Holder-Obama or [their] antipathy to people who don't feeeeeeeeeeeeeeel like them or anti-social sentiment or anti-conservative sentiment as a way to explain their feeeeeeeeeeeeeeelings.
Excellent post.
For decades the NCVS had victim race / offender race numbers (Table 42).
Then in 2009 when the Department of Justice was changed over to the Obama-Holder Department of Just Us and Our People that all disappeared. I think the only stats showing interracial crime are the FBI homicide data. There is now an on-line tool for NCVS data but I cannot find Table 42 data.
Those FBI homicide numbers are almost as alarming as the sexual and robbery violence survey numbers are in the NCVS files up through 2008 -- alarming only in the sense that they may get out to the public and totally disprove the lies of the race-grievance industry, the Obama-Holder demagogues, and the MSM employees.
I also posted a table of decades of economic data showing how the Obama Administration compares to other administrations. here
Savage has been making some excellent points lately -- the kind I like to hear and live long enough to see come to pass -- like holding people accountable for things like the election fraud that put (as he calls them) sorority sisters in charge.
Here is a good spot for just Chicago. Despite the name it is a very good breakdown of crime in obozo/emmanuel’s city.
If Black Lives Matter truly was about correcting a problem the U.S. Department of Justice crimes rates by race show where to start.
BLM brings back memories of 1960s street mobs along with campus radical, psycho spoiled brats many of whom along with their ideological litters are now the Establishment.
It's their tactic:
mau-mauing.
meaning.. "to intimidate by hostile confrontation or threats"
See "Mau-Mauing the Flak Catchers" by Tom Wolfe
So "Black Lives Matter" merely means black lives mau-mauing --
until all lives matter including babies' lives.

This update is for the years 2009 through 2014. These interracial crime data, it appears to me, are no longer released to the public since Barack Obama became president in 2009. If you know where the National Criminal Victimization Survey (NCVS) Table 42 data for the years following 2008 are available on a federal government web site please post the URLs.
