The first attempt to launch the rocket and CRS-6 Dragon cargo capsule on Monday, April 13, was scrubbed just about three minutes before the scheduled blastoff at approximately 4:33 p.m. EDT from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, due to a violation of the launch weather constraints.
Todays second liftoff attempt 24 hours later, is slated for approximately 4:10 p.m. from SLC-41.
NASA Television plans live launch coverage starting at 3:00 p.m EDT:
You can watch the launch live on NASA TV here: http://www.nasa.gov/nasatv

Beautiful view from Orlando! Nice.
Anyone understand the obsession with trying to land back on earth on a floating platform? I could never figure that out. Seems a bit overly complicated.

The floating platform is just a temporary measure. After they master the technique, they intend to land the booster at a regular continental space site.

Is/was the touchdown of the first stage successful? I can’t find any kind of live feed...

Did it actually land this time with the arms out or did it crash again?

Well anyways it was a beautiful launch! I even got a bit teary-eyed, thinking way, way back to being a kid and watching all the Gemini and Apollo launches...
It’s a DAMN SHAME we have not been back to the moon. A damn shame. It would unify the world to do it again.

I’ve heard it was a hard unsurvivable landing.
