OS X.10.3 closed a very critical vulnerability that has been present in OS X for some time. The vulnerability has yet to be patched for Mavericks and Mountain Lion. It does require physical possession of the computer but allows privilege escalation. Yosemite users should update immediately to OS X.10.3 to close this vulnerability if you have not yet done so. PING!
