Wow it took 28 posts before someone brought Tiger into it. It’s not about Tiger, only this kids awesome play.

When they showed videos of him as a young kid, after he got the green jacket, he had full blond hair.

Well, he can drive, chip and putt. And since they all wear caps nowadays, you can’t see his dome. And what does it matter how bald he is? I know one Freeper who is bald, and he is doing just fine....

I just despise the thug Tiger Woods so much that I want to see all of his records broken by better people.

Did I say that I was a Jesuit? Geez Louise, this was started as a golf thread. You won't stop me from being a Catholic though. Believe it or not, we are (more or less) on the same team here.

There is a small subset of Texas FReeperdom who consider anyone not born in this state inauthentic. I was taken to task about five years ago when I acknowledged my birthplace of Pennsylvania. Despite having been conceived here in the Lone Star state and living here -- by choice -- for over four decades, that's not good enough bona fides. That insular attitude has thankfully waned with the rise of Senator Ted Cruz, a man who's more thoroughly Texan than quite a few fortunate to have been born on this blessed land.

What did Tiger do that hundreds of other Athletes and Sports Stars haven't done in like, FOREVER. Did he screw someone close to you? Let it go. He has to face the consequence of what he did every day, it only bugs you when he's on TV, not worth the aggravation.

You describe a phenomenon that exists everywhere. You can live someplace for fifty years, and the natives will still call you an outsider.

I also saw him on the course. His visage has taken on a more thuggish demeanor. The once prominent Asiatic features seems to be retreating. My guess is that he's trying to establish "steet cred" with Holder's people now that his career is in decline. Watch for his rap record to come soon. :)

Spieth’s short game and putting is awesomely good. The only flaw in his game I noticed is that his driver off the tee ended up in right rough many times.
I watch entire 4 days, and there was really only 1 bad iron shot he hit in 4 days. That was the chip from 40 yards out on 17th hole on Saturday.

In the third round, after a particularly awful tee shot, he uttered a spectacular and blasphemous profanity. I have been, (and still am), a Tiger Woods fan, but he inevitably makes it difficult to be one.

Big whoop, are you going to post pics of ALL the athletes that have met with Lord Foul? Because I remember there were maybe a hand full that refused. This is getting silly.

Thug? What makes him a “thug”. Has he been beating people up? No, he cheated on his wife.
Let’s be blunt... you called him a thug because he’s black. Crawl back under your rock.
To: nascarnation
I was surprised Tiger made the cut, but he didn’t play well today, couldn’t hit a fairway if his life depended on it.

Interesting insight.
Guys like Palmer, Nicklaus, and Player are honored by the golf community in their advanced age.
I wonder how that will work for TW?
