One of many examples that stands out in my memory comes from around 16 years ago. I was debating some liberal on an AOL message board. I cant recall what we were arguing about, but I do recall some time during our debate he said that the president votes on legislation and the congress signs legislation into law. I corrected him, pointing out that he had it backwards. It was congress that voted on legislation and it was the president that signed it (or vetoed it). The liberal called me an idiot and said that I had no idea of what I was talking about!
I was stunned at his stupidity. Nobody could be this dumb, right? For a moment there I actually thought that I was debating politics with some 8 year old kid. So I looked up his member profile and shocked to discover that he was a 52 year old man! Old enough to be my father. You’d think that someone at that age would be a little more smarter and wiser than that, even a liberal.
