Since elephants never forget, they’ll have something to tell their kids!
DANG!
I saw the same thing done on a Viagra commercial. Only the guy used his own team of horses to pull his pickup out of the mud.
What a great story.
If those elephants hadn’t been available to help there is no telling what horrors might have befallen that poor truck driver. I think the federal DOT should start requiring all tractor trailer-trucks to carry at least two “emergency elephants” at all times.
If it saves even ONE life, the additional expense and hassle will be well worth it...
Oh, nevermind.
Think of all of the good work that could be done by “repurposing” Michael Moore to perform such tasks...
Oh the pachydermity!! Don't they know that circuses EXPLOIT elephants?? Why The Greatest Show On Earth has recently said that they will phase out the use of these precious animals. /sarc
The only thing that could possibly improve this story is a trunk monkey.
This is a everyday occurrence in India....
PETA will be issuing a press release at 2PM ET to decry the exploitation of these elephants.
Huh.. I’ve got a V8 in the truck, I wonder what the conversion factor is between horsepower and elephant power? Maybe it’s more of a torque thing - foot pounds vs. pachyderm pounds?
Kind of reminds me of a couple scenes in “Larger than Life”, a rather sweet Bill Murray Movie, that I watched on TV a couple weeks ago:
