One of the rallying cries of opponents of Indiana's religious freedom law is that people shouldn't be discriminated against because of "who they love."
But radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh flipped that around on his show on Wednesday.
Critics of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act say it allows people to use their religious beliefs to discriminate against gay people. Proponents say it only allows business owners to refuse to perform their services, such as at same-sex weddings, if doing so is a violation of their faith.

As usual, Rush thinks way above the competition.
We all know the answer is liberals/progressives hate Christianity.
First time in 24 years of listening that I’ve ever heard Rush suggest he is a Christian. Anyone know what denomination?
Rush has alluded to his Faith over the years and does mention on occasion how his parents brought him up in the once Biblical Lutheran church, IIRC.
It’s not WHO they love, but HOW they “love”.
I submit that people who think this behavior is an expression of “love”, or that love is simply the expression of sexual proclivities and fetishes, DO NOT KNOW WHAT LOVE IS!
This is about one being coerced by threat of force or penury to participate in behaviors that one believes is sin.
Sexual perversion is the love of physical pleasure only.
Surely. If you truly love someone, you won’t intentionally encourage them in their sin, and every homosexual does that with their “partner”.
I heard him and I didn’t take away that he was suggesting he was a Christian, although I think he is close. He certainly seems to be trending that direction if you listen closely.
I hope he does trust in Jesus Christ’s righteousness as the only way of Salvation. May God see fit to have Mercy on his soul.
Most likely Missouri Synod Lutheran, Baby! (Just like me.)
The Missouri Synod Lutheran is a great mainline Christian church, I just can’t see commuting to Missouri every Sunday. :-)
White Horse Inn fan?
I always enjoyed Riddlebarger, Rosenbladt, and Horton.
White Horse Inn closed a while back; don’t know why. It was a fun place to go for parties and lunch!
Yep. I WANT to be told I’m a Sinner and to KNOCK IT OFF on Sundays!
My sister goes to a Big Box New-Age-y cr@p church, which I cannot stand, and my Mom’s church is quite free-wheeling with their lesbian ‘pastor’ and such. *Rolleyes*
I’m the Last Woman Standing in Wisconsin! :)
God knows where to find me, should I need a smite. Or should that be a smote? ;)
I have heard him make several comments over the years to that effect. I have also heard him say that he avoids religious topics because (and I am paraphrasing)everybody has their own beliefs and there is little room for discussion.
Not only would a liberal/progressive not accept it, he or she would reply in accusative fashion regarding homosexual rights .. “ WWJD What Would Jesus Do?”
Of course their challenge is meant to make you accept their progressive morality.
Beck’s show today illustrated how the religious freedom bill protects gays with a conscience too. Their example was would a gay printer comply with printing hundreds of posters for the Westboro Baptist Church ?
Then find one near you! They are scattered throughout the States.

“We all know the answer is liberals/REGRESSIVES hate Christianity.
Fixed it.
