The dead scumbag had a long police record.
Good riddance.
The young officer was also a veteran.
.
That thug’s face would make an excellent target picture.
I’m waiting for the cold weather to end and the hot summer to start.
The cities will be ... interesting.
The collateral impact on society by the illegal drug industry is shown here. To reduce the crime we need to take down this industry. Where during the years of prohibition, there were no high tech capabilities to enforce the law. Now we have so many tools in the box, we could pull these druggies out by the roots.
Why don’t we do it? The illegal drug industry has corrupted the leaders in the cities. If they aren’t high on the stuff, they are getting kickbacks from it.
He was a good dude, just been married last year, just had a baby. He did a lot of time in prison but he was a good dude, he came home and turned his life around, Shawn Washington said of his best friend, Angelo West, who was shot and killed by police on Humboldt Avenue Friday night. I never, ever woke up crying I woke up crying this morning.
As members of the Boston Police Departments Youth Violence Strike Force approached the vehicle that West was riding in at 6:40 p.m. near the intersection of Humboldt Avenue and Ruthven Street, West exited the car and opened fire on the officer, police said.
Officer John T. Moynihan, 34, suffered a gunshot wound to the face and was rushed to Boston Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition. West, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. A third, female victim, who police believe was caught in the crossfire, suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to Boston Medical Center.
This was not the first time West had fired at police officers he was sentenced to 7 to 10 years in prison after a July 2001 shooting.
West was arrested after firing a .22-caliber pistol at a pair of cops in the Theatre District, one of whom was now-retired officer Bill Griffiths, 59, who was on routine bicycle patrol about 2:55 a.m. when he saw a state trooper grappling with West on Stuart Street. Griffiths said West begged him to shoot him.
What I have to live with right now is to say, Maybe if I had done just a little bit more that night then this wouldnt have happened to this poor man, Griffiths, whose brother, Sherman, died in a Dorchester drug bust in 1988, told the Herald yesterday. My family went through that with my brother in the aftermath its always people saying hes a nice guy, he had a baby. His intent was to hurt policemen.
“West allegedly shot Moynihan ‘point blank’ and emptied his revolver in the unprovoked attack, police said.....”
An unarmed black man. Who was attacked by police for no reason.
He prolly had his hands up after his last shot. And police should have just cuffed the surrendering man (just a kid, really) who reasonably believed the cops were out to murder him cuz he was black, and was known to resist oppression and white privilege.
S...jic
Some serious high fiving going on at the WH.
Pray America is waking
Prayers up.
Masshole
Prayers for the officer, and happy thoughts about the dead scumbag.
I wouldn’t call it an unprovoked attack ,, six cops pulled this thug over, they knew who he was and they knew they had no real traffic infraction to hang the stop on they just wanted to harass this known drug felon.. There’s a reason people get upset at the cops , they ignore peoples rights ... this guy had enough and the police had telegraphed that they were going to continue harassing him and violating his 4th amendment rights until they jailed him, maybe the Boston police will learn to not harass people from this.
Being a cop would be a lot safer for us AND them if the police obeyed the law.
Did not see in the news but the cop was also a Army Ranger veteran of the Iraq war.
So THE PIGS shot the poor motorist because his gun accidentally went off at the wrong time and pointing the wrong way.
But we all know THE TRUTH. They shot him only because HE WAS BLACK. If he were white, he’d still be with us, eagerly trying to choose which medical school to enroll in.
Sincerely, Eric Holder, Jesse, Obama, and the usual others.
(a bit of overkill here, but reality is getting closer to the above)
Too high a price to get a lowlife off the streets... the loser wasn’t worth the powder it took to blow him away. Prayers for the family of the young police officer.
