If you drink water in New Orleans, its been through 14 people on the way
down the Mississippi.
Consider it takes at least 5 gallons of water to make a single gallon of corn ethanol even more if the corn requires irrigation so ending the corn ethanol for fuel boondoggle could save potentially billions of gallons of water annually.

Roughly 3/4 of the earth is water. What we need is better desalination technology.
