I know I'm lacking some rational thought here, so someone will surely educate me, but is this law even needed? Is there some kind of neighborhood pet drug testing regime I'm unfamiliar with?
Or is this really about making a back door entry for selling over the counter cannabis concoctions, claiming that people are spending hundreds of dollars for ‘medication for their pets’?

Segerblom said he's concerned that some animals might have adverse reactions, but "you don't know until you try," he said. This duffus might have an adverse reaction mild electrical shocks too but you never know until you try.
So let's wire him up and crank up the generator.

I saw the headline and knew immediately this could be a classic thread. It is just the type of topic FR does well. So far it is off to a good start. I hope to see page after page of this.

OMG! These graphics are killing me! On a serious note, if it is proven that cannabis helps alleviate symptoms for an ill dog, I have no problem with it. I also have no problem with medical marijuana for ill humans - we give them morphine, demeral, and other narcotics, why not pot if it gives them an appetite and/or makes them feel better?
That said, I have a problem with so many States approving pot for recreational use. I believe no good will come of that. I know for a fact that pot lowers a person's ambition, will, and the lethargic effects have a long half-life.
