Back in the fifties, we saw auroras from East Tennessee. As kids we were told that it was due to the atmospheric testing of nuclear weapons.

Awesome. I used to see the aurora while stationed in Labrador but never with this much color.

As a child, I saw the Aurora Borealis three times in the Panhandle of Texas…beautiful!

Excellent work. City lights and skyline, and always a challenging latitude, prevented our seeing even a soft glow, leaving no way to take advantage of the storm or of an old Moon.

Today's kids are likely being told that it is due to "climate change"
