Rosa Parks should be on the $20 bill, not Andrew Jacksonone group is taking that argument all the way to the White House. Women make up 50 percent of the U.S. population and 85 percent of all consumer purchases, so isnt it about time we got a face on some legal tender? Women on 20s is a nonprofit on a mission to make a woman on the $20 bill a reality.
This is designed to be a grassroots campaign. We want this to come from the people, says Susan Ades Stone, executive director and strategist of Women on 20s.
This is a doable mission.

What you state is merely the result of the ongoing Third World conquest of America. It is quite natural they want to start “honoring” those that warm their hearts. Since we can’t and won’t fight live with it!

I have a better suggestion. Let's remove all the dead presidents and put important Americans outside politics on our money. Further, let's dedicate each denomination to a special category. The person who appears on the bill should have been dead for at least 50 years so that his historical importance can be established. Each face should appear on the bill for ten years, and then a new face would be placed on the bill.
The $100 bill should be dedicated to American letters. I would start with Mark Twain.
The $50 bill should be dedicated to the American arts. I would start with George Gershwin.
The $20 bill should be dedicated to American science. I would start with Thomas Edison.
The $10 bill should be dedicated to the American military. I would start with George Patton.
The $5 bill should be dedicated to American women. I would start with Dolley Madison.
The $2 and $1 bills should be eliminated, using the Canadian example, and replaced with coins.

It is time to replace any Dems on our coins and bills. Which means Jackson on the twenty, something they're apparently trying to do, and Roosevelt on the dime. Big change.

Next they will want Barack Obama on the $100 bill...

No one mentions Mary Jo Kopechne.
I can remember where I was when Limbaugh proclaimed her as the most important women in politics.
She kept a Kennedy out of the Whitehouse, who would have advanced our decline into socialism by 25 years.

No doubt. Now that is a woman. What eight kids (or something like that) and THEN went back to school and got her law license?

Considering what is they are doing to the value of the money, perhaps it is time to do the cheap coupon looking bills like most of the rest of the world makes. The most iconic woman, the one that should be on the dollar bill perhaps, would be Marylin Monroe.
