The table that I assembled is in response to vague references that we see and hear like "the BLS said", "the WSJ said", "radio/TV/Blog/column said" . . . the table has links directly to the original data. It's too large to post repeatedly on threads though I do hope to keep it current quarterly (with annualized data) until Election 2016. And change/add columns as needed.

This is information that
- is germane to many news articles but
- is too large to be posted repeatedly on FReepers' threads;
- it's copies of federal-government-sourced economic data;
- frankly I am tired of seeing sources listed as MSM said, "the government" said, or even some conservative said;
- the table is good to compare Obama and the economy in general to other administrations;
- (especially the first six years of Reagan);
- I intend to source my comments by references to this table;
- the columns hyperlink directly to notes at the end and
- the notes contain links directly to the original data in
- the Bureau of Labor Statistics,
- the Bureau of Economic Analysis,
- the United States Census Bureau,
- the Treasury Department,
- the National Bureau of Economic Research, Inc. (considered an official source for recessions authority),
- the Office of Management and Budget,
- the Social Security Administration (SSA) and
- a couple of columns that I developed using the federal data.
- I am hoping to keep the table current quarterly with annualized data through election 2016.

See original table above for links to federal government sources. This is the first qtr-2 2015 update. Some columns had revised data for the years 2012 through 2014,
For 2015 I used the annualized data from the second quarter of 2015.
Series, Permits, Rcpts, Out, +/-, and income columns have not been updated.
You can clearly see how the economy behaved during the time Obama and the Democrats were totally occupied with Obamacare.
You can see how the economy behaved when Reagan was president.
The annualized quarterly statistics (some GDP percentages for example) are larger than the final percentage for the whole year.
But a quarterly data table of course would be four times larger than the yearly table.
I think the yearly table gets the information across.
Each column in the original "table" is a table aligned left (side-by-side). In a couple of cases a table contains more than one column.
So it's fairly easy to add or rearrange columns if anyone has suggestions.
