Here’s something fun to do: Go to an aquarium, ask one of the workers there about how to contain an octopus. Pull up a chair, as you’ll hear thousands of stories about octopuses escaping.

Octopi are surprisingly intelligent.

She was very lucky. This could have happened.

Kind of like what Obama did to America.

Very cool. Thanks for posting.
Mrs POF and I were out on the tide pools at Pillar Point last weekend (Princeton-by-the-Sea, CA) and there was a huge number of people gathering food at low tide. We saw one guy pull an octopus from the rocks. He was a little feller like in the video, but he was hanging on for dear life. Every time the hunter got a tentacle free, another one would grab back onto the rocks. The battle lasted a few minutes, but the human won and the octopus went into the bucket.

I watched a show about potential evolution millions of years in the future that showed land dwelling octopi as the dominant intelligent species on the planet.
Pure speculation but interesting to watch none the less.
