Some of us remember America of fifty years ago. Vastly, vastly different than what we see now.
In your opinion, what will America be in another fifty years?

But by 2063 we were already on version three of the fully wireless direct sex link between two people (and an “orgy option” enables a “teleconferencing” mode). Simple eye contact (with the right visual cue codes) with a person in Starbucks can communicate the desire for an encounter. Once the wireless handshake is completed, a fully realistic and creative in every way sexual encounter progresses while the two parties simply sit motionless in their chair in front of their tall, skinny machiato.

However, in 2014, a few enterprising young men successfully hacked the software enabling them to “virtually rape” women if any eye contact whatsoever is made.
And because there is no recording and no proof, these cases are completely impossible to prosecute.
This has significantly altered the cultural landscape, not to mention sales of the devices to all but the sluttiest of females. Oddly, sales INCREASED among the homosexual.

In fifty years, IF the Lord has not yet returned to sweep up the filth, I reckon the North American continent will be well on its way to being repopulated ... following the chaos and mayhem, disease and genocide. What races will be doing the repopulating is anyone’s guess, but I would guess Orientals and Hispanics. Islam will not even be a word spoken by men by that time, and bankers will be the lowest liferom on the planet because they planned and carried out the Agenda 21 dictates from which the planet will be recovering.
Needless to say, we will no longer be a superpower since the financial demands of the welfare state and the decaying physical and mental health of young Americans will sap the nation's ability to project power overseas.
The climate for conservative Christians will be hostile, not unlike Eastern Europe in the post-World War II era or Mexico in the 1920s and 1930s. Conservative Christian Americans will migrate in large numbers overseas, to Latin America or Australia, where their beliefs will not be marginalized and there will be greater freedom to live according to their faith. Other Americans with an entrepreneurial spirit will migrate to East and South Asia and Latin America, as high taxes and regulation will make this country an unappetizing place to do business. By 2065, even Oklahoma and Wyoming may resemble 2015 Massachusetts as a regulatory hellhole, and Massachusetts resemble some Communist nightmare like Belarus or North Korea. In shirt, the most moral and enterprising Americans will be lost to foreign nations.
The Southwest will be a de facto, if not actual, part of Mexico. However, declining birth rates in Mexico and Central America, as well as improving economies in those countries, will prevent immigration waves from swamping the rest of the United States.
China will be the dominant world power, and will have reduced Russia to a satellite. Japan, Vietnam, and Korea will have learned to live with Chinese dominance in the Far East. The Chinese will recolonize much of Africa, and become dominant in the South Pacific. India will continue to develop, and may be the next possible rival to China.
Demographics will likely cause large parts of Europe to become Muslim in varying degrees: more so in France and Germany, less so in Italy or Britain. But the Papal See may relocate to Latin America. However, the various branches of Islam are no more likely to unite than are Catholicism, Protestantism, and Orthodoxy. Thus, there will be no worldwide caliphate to rival China as the dominant superpower. Jewish immigration to Israel from Europe and North America will strengthen that country, allowing it to retain its Jewish character.
I think drones will be common, I’ll order a case of beer and it will be delivered.
Drones, with 8 props will be scaled up for transportation and you will call for one just like a taxi, you won’t have to learn to fly, just tell it where you want to go.
Thorium will be the energy source.
The population will shrink in just about every country.
People will live in a more rural neighborhood, have more free time and property large enough to have a climate controlled greenhouse for most of your produce.
3D print stores will be abundant, making artisans and designers in demand.
Transportation will take to the air lessoning our dependence on roads and unions. Politicians will have to listen to the little people instead.
Our phones will replace our wallet and our phone number will be our lifelong ID.
It will be pretty much the opposite of what Al Gore and Al Queda want.
Yeah, I'm sticking with the traditional predictions...
Back around 2002 I had the pleasure of talking with an old lady in N.W. Kansas who was 94 years old. She lived thru the depression, the great dust bowl, told me about how her father drilled a well using a mule and auger, and every Friday they would ride into town on a horse and buggy to buy supplies.......
Then how they had the house she currently resided in towed into town, Logan KS., by mule train over logs set in front of house.......I regret that I didn't have more time to talk with her but we only stayed one night in her house prior to opening day of pheasant season then moved into the farm house of a friend the next day......
I'm in awe at what she has experienced in her lifetime and can only imagine what is in store for us in the next 50 years............
The current generation may not survive the next 50 years unless this country repents, decides to obey G_D’s laws, and supports Israel. Otherwise, things will gradually become worse until we no longer exist as the nation that was founded under our Judeo-Christian beliefs in 1773-1776.
My generation was around in 1962 when the Supreme Court ruled against Prayer in Schools. Since that decision, we have witnessed our nation slowly disintegrating. Some will argue it was the day they killed JFK. Either way, we are no longer the nation we were back then. Today we a reaping the harvest from that long ago decision when we turned away from G_D. And it is not good.
Learn from Israel, the apple of G_D’s eye, what happens to a nation that does not obey G_D. Each time they failed to obey G_D. he allowed their enemies to capture, take them away to foreign lands, and enslave them for 400 years until they were freed to return to their homeland. I guess they did not get his message each time. Finally he allowed Rome to destroy Israel for good in 70 AD. Rome destroyed the temple and killed or scattered the rest across the world to live in foreign lands as exiles. In 1948 Israel was reborn as a nation and G_D allowed them to return once again to their homeland. G_D has protected Israel and they have survived several wars and many attempts to destroy them by their Arab neighbor nations up to the current time.
We should be so blessed if we are allowed to survive. If we bless Israel, G_D has promised HE will blessed us. If we turn away from G_D and Israel, we are TOAST. It’s as simple as that.

In 50 years, the human race will be extinct, terminated by the Super Artificial Intelligence we created in 2035.
Reminds me of what Louis XV of France said: "Apres moi, le deluge" -- after me, the deluge. He knew his country was headed for disaster, but it would be after his lifetime. (He died around 15 years before the French Revolution.)
Although I was just a kid in 1965, that seemed like the last "normal" year -- before the hippie movement, Black Panthers & student protests.
I'm not sure Russia will be around, either. She has an economy in shambles & a declining birth rate.

That whole area was, simply, innocent. It's something we'll never see again, ever.
One fine day in 2021, the government regretfully announces that it can no longer afford entitlement programs.The.Checks.Just.Stop. The Citizenship Riots of the previous year were a factor in that decision, of course.
There is rioting and and upsurge in crime but the working stiffs of America, with their guns, hold the line and things settle back down after a few months. People decide it is better to work for small money and survive than to wave a protest sign with a grumbling belly. But the work ethic takes hold.
People start to remember that American government is best when it leaves you the hell alone and that virus spreads rapidly. The “old guard” tries to hold the big-government fort but the working stiffs will not be denied. The sight of certain Senators and Representatives hanging from streetlights brings back the custom to doing what the people tell them, dammit.
With realistic and Constitutional government restored, after the hotly-debated but ultimately successful Constitution Update of 2024, America again becomes a beacon of hope for the world.
I’ll be dead. My kids will be in concentration camps or killed. I trained them to be nails that stick up.
The Bolsheviks will be in power and a full fledged thugocracy will be established with ignorant peasants providing the strong arm.
I see no hope without revolution and rebuilding from the ashes by the victors. Our predecessors pissed away the Republic by screwing up a perfectly good Constitution. The genie can’t be put back in the bottle.
We have the sense to know we will be defeated without critical and haven’t the guts to take a chance as the fouders did trusting the outcome to God.
Through gubmint-mandated cloning and surgeries, all the women will look like Rosie O’Donnell and all the men will look like Pajama Boy.
Freedom is relative and the last two generations of children have been dumbed down to have no idea what freedom really is. They can’t cherish it because they can’t recognize it. The communists have done their work.
The children think freedom is a smart phone, social networking and all the games they can play. I can’t begin to understand them any more. I don’t know them.
If they are honorable and stupid enough to work they will be taxed to death. If they work they will have a marginally better life but will be stupid. The ones they support will be like pets. Kept for the sham vote.
