Well, that wasn’t my daughter. My daughter was the one who took the mugger’s gun and wallet away from him, beat the crap out of him and then told him he could ask for his possessions at the local precinct. And this with only 33 years of weekly karate/kung-fu training.
Only 33 years?
I hope my daughter catches on like that!
In Voir Dior for Jury duty a while ago, there was a waifish black grandmother whom the judge asked if she could explain an “incident” in her jury questionnaire. When younger, she had come out from a 2 min trip inside a chicken joint to pick up take-out and found a man tapping on her car window with a gun trying to get her daughter to open up.
When she approached, he told her to open up and that they were “going for a ride”. He response to the situation was “I didn’t see ANYTHING good coming out of that, so I beat his ass, took his gun and shot him 3 times”. The courtroom roared in approval of that one, and she was seated on the jury too (as was I, for a month).
