Our baby is all grown up.
Jon Stewart, Americas most-overrated perennial adolescent, has shed his Gen X jammies and is poised to finally move out of the house.
Sayonara, Jon.
Unlike Brian Williams, you got away with it.
Comedy Central has done well monetizing The Daily Show and youve become a very rich man perpetrating one of the greatest frauds upon the culture in entertainment history.

He had good mentors such as “Tingles” and Sgt. Schultz and Bill Maher, etc.
He is a liberal overgrown adolescent, who delights in snarky comments passing for intellectual discussion.
Good description
Can we use Mr leibowitzes real name?
He and his ilk on shows like “Saturday Night Live” have been instrumental in delivering the young adult vote to Dems (or at least generating a sense of futility that kept them home), keeping them out of the political fights that were leading to the destruction of their way of life.
For a time on the Eastern Front, the “Commissar order” required that such people be killed immediately upon capture. The Eastern European armies fighting the USSR understood the danger they posed.
It’s frustrating to hear that so many young people hang on every word from Jon Stewart. They watch it as if it is a real news show. They get their news and information from whatever topics Jon Stewart chooses to make fun of. And the targets of Stewart’s snark are almost always conservatives. So there’s a political statement too being pushed by Stewart. He pushes liberalism in his own way.
Isn’t Comedy Central owned by CBS? For years, the lies were perpetuated.
Stewart is okay, IMHO. It is the reaction of the low info viewer/voter that is over the top....folks who post his clips when he attacks conservatives, but look the other way on those occasions when he rips into liberals.
Don’t you just love it when the most ardent anti-capitalists rake in the dough?
And one more thing... If he’s a comedian shouldn’t he be, well... funny?
Each is a different shade of liberal, but what BOR and Stewart have in common is the fact that both of them fancy themselves to be notable comedians.

It isn’t just young people; older liberal childless co-workers treat his show as news as well.
I’ve rarely seen the show, but barbs directed at libs generally occur in the safe zone after they are elected/re-elected.
At this point people should realize that with the exception of a couple of networks, nobody is allowed to have a show unless they march to the beat of the Bolshevik agenda. All you need to know about Jon Stewart is that he was ALLOWED to have a show.
That never stopped Roseanne Barr.
Interesting analogy.
Stewart and his ilk are indeed “Commissars”.
The greatest threat to the survival of the USA is not the ragheads but obama voters and domestic marxists in DC, academia, and the press.
There is no security until this threat is neutralized.
While the writer doesn’t actually say that Stewart is Gen-X, he gives the impression that he is.
Stewart is a boomer.
Why?
I have never thought of O’Reilly as a comedian.
A comic yes, a comedian no.
