This Girl Has No Way Of Proving She’s A U.S. Citizen Thanks To Her Fundamentalist Parents (VIDEO)

19-year-old Alecia Faith Pennington has spent her life so sheltered by her Christian fundamentalist parents that now, as a young adult, she is finding it almost impossible to prove to the government that she actually exists.

In a video uploaded to YouTube and quickly going viral, Pennington documents the various ways her parents have managed to prevent leaving even a single speck of evidence to help her gain an official identity or to prove that she is a United States citizen. For starters, they gave birth to her at home, and declined to get a birth certificate or social security number. She was then homeschooled, and the family never took her to a hospital or doctor’s office.

Born at home. In a cabin on a hill in Butcher Hollow?

She has citizenship because both of her parents are citizens.

paperwork problem....

we did a home birth. When we filed for the birth certificate they said we had to have a social security number assigned first. when we called the SS office they said they needed the birth certificate first. It “only” took them about 4 months (and repeated phone calls from me) to finally figure it out.

Though they were much quicker than the time it took the IRS 6 months and about 25 calls and 10 letters on my part to send me a refund they “forgot” to send me.

And much quicker than the Fed. student loan office which took 1 1/2 years (and about 50 calls over that time and a freedom of information act filing from me) to get a simple questions answered. The irony is the FIFA act sent paperwork that had nothing to do with me from a state I was never a student in. Some bureaucrat just stuffed some paper into an envelope (as best as I can tell it was a document from some NY college board of governance/administrator thing??)

Note to parents: #SSN is not the Mark of the Beast, if that’s what they were thinking.

Last time I renewed my Florida D/L I had to dig out my birth certificate, in spite of having a FL license for over 50 years.

I think she is having trouble along those lines due to the lack of documentation.
Anything legal means you prove who you are; that name change her folks did for her was done by a notary who knew the family, and so therefore wasn’t requiring ID etc.

She and her granny tried to get a delayed birth cert, and they wouldn’t let her in the courthouse due to lack of documentation.

In that link I posted, there’s a list of things they’ve done so far, the results, and whether it proved age and identity.

The key to unlocking the whole thing is her being able to prove she’s a citizen.

Thai is tho one thing they don’t have on their itemized list, something to prove her citizenship.

I believe that’s —exactly— what they were thinking.

Alecia’s father, James, is an accountant....

ccording to a 2007 court document,he has not filed taxes since 1996,and has been contacted by the IRS for evasion. With nine children reportedly undocumented –although three adult children did eventually receive documentation –it further complicates the issue,Mr. Stollar says.

The Republicans have John (Panama Canal Zone) McCain, Mitt Romney (father born in Mexico), Ted (born in Canada) Cruz, Marco Rubio (parents born in Cuba), Bobby Jindal (parents born in India), and Nikki Haley (parents born in India) with presidential aspirations past or future.

Look at the Anchor Group which is NOT a fence building company or anything BUT a church....

Here’s a link with a bunch of interesting links in the comments:

This isn't a problem. Just go down to the DMV on Flagler Ave. in Miami. Problem solved.

So this guy operated a church called ‘The Anchor Group’, which was his only source of income he didn’t report?

I’m not sure I’ve got a handle on what he was up to.

Possibly. He -did- set it up as a church and had a court case about it.

Sounds like how everyone used to live before 1935. But then, to the Left, returning to even yesterday becomes unthinkable.
