“What a “family!” Fighting while this woman is dying. In normal families you put aside your differences and support one another.”

I saw it in my own family, otherwise “normal” as you put it. They were simply overcome with grief, watching their 37 year old son, husband, father, brother die from Leukemia during a 90 day terminal stay in the hospital.

They were not really angry with each other, but angry at the loss. They probably later regretted their breakdowns.

I’d therefore be a careful about criticizing others.

I once worked for attorneys. One of them specialized in estate litigation. It’s amazing what happens to families when there is money involved. Some families fight over the estate before the family member has assumed room temperature.
