One River Ridge resident who asked that her name not be printed, questioned whether the county did enough to publicize the proposed changes before they were passed.
The kids play here and people walk here; they walk with their dogs, she said. How dangerous is that to have these hunters walk around with bows that are almost like machine guns? And who knows about it?

From the headlines you missed the obvious questions:
What is the bag limit on Neighborhoods, and how much is a licence?

"Where can I get one of those?"
From a guy named Lars Andersen.
Some instruction may be required.
He has learned the techniques of Saracen archers, look him up on Youtube.
If you have EVER shot a bow, you will not believe it at first.

To: diogenes ghost
I have seen the videos. He is super amazing. Wish I could shoot like that!

    The guy is awesome.
It shows how ancient archers were nearly as deadly as a man with a pair of sixguns.

And frankly, the reason guns took off so well is that archery of the caliber of Lars takes a decade to perfect, whereas a firearm can be as effectively employed with only a day at the range.

That’s my county. I counted 8 does in my front yard this weekend. I counted 14 does in my yard a few months back. We’re overrun with them. The population of deer is higher this year for some reason. I never see a buck though. ;-)
Sadly, I don’t own a bow. Yet.

    walking around?
I could kill my deer with a bow from a partially opened siding glass door.
The main reason I don’t is because I dread the butchering work
