Williamsburg, Va. Kimberlyn Williams feels unsafe in her own home because of her 12-year-old son.
I am his mother and I do love him, but he`s dangerous, Williams says.
She says hes so dangerous that she is prepared to face jail time to keep him out of the house, to not only protect herself, but her two younger children.
I have been hit, bit, kicked, she says. He has threatened to stab children at school, to kill them. He has these outbursts.
She says her son is now at Riverside Behavioral Health Center in Hampton. He was put there after Williams called police last week because of what she says she witnessed between her son and four-year-old daughter.
When I went in, I found him exposing himself to her and trying to coerce her to touch him, Williams says.
Williams says that was the final straw after years of violent and inappropriate behavior, and years of trying to get him the help he needs.
It`s not a case of us not trying to get him help, she says. This is not an isolated incident. Its been a gauntlet of doctors and medications and diagnoses.
Her son is set to be released Thursday, but Williams does not want to bring him home.
If I do not show up to get him, I will face criminal charges or child abandonment, she says.
Williams says Child Protective Services told her if she refuses to take him, her son would be placed in a 24-hour supervision residential facility something shes wanted all along. She says it would take police arresting her to get her wish.
I want something to get done, Williams says. I don`t want it to be you take this one and you risk your other childrens health and safety or you go to jail. There has to be a better way.
To get her son the help he needs, Williams says shes prepared to face the consequences.
Nobody wants to talk about this, she says. It`s something we would certainly consider a private family issue, but along those lines maybe it can help other people.
Neither James City County Police nor CPS will comment
Individuals can help through professional organizations ... and that’s what FReepers are about ... and not government forced redistribution programs.

And you know and have seen here ... FReepers very loudly proclaiming that our Constitution was not set up or created for the forced redistribution of wealth to other groups of people that the government deems needs it.
If you’ve been here any length of time, you know that quite well.
Its not a binary question.
I can’t help it if you don’t know that the vast majority of FReepers fight against the forced redistribution of money to other groups that the government thinks needs it more than those who earned it ... or that FReepers want the government to stay out of family business and don’t want to allow government the means or “agency” to do so.
Everything I have said sure does answer it ... and some will say that I have already said more than is necessary to make it clear ... :-) ...
Bottom line ... no forced redistribution of money to other groups that the government deems is better deserving of it. And no government intrusion into family affairs ... end this overreach by government into families.
Its not a binary question, means its not an either/or. A yes or no. An all or nothing.
There are degrees.
MOST people (including Freepers) would agree that some level of taxation in return for basic services is acceptable. You keep claiming to speak for all of Freeperdom and all conservatives but all you push is anarchy.
When a family cannot or will not handle it then the govt in some form needs to step in. Otherwise we end up with children in the gutter begging for survival.
I’ve seen children begging for a meal first hand. Have you?
You seem to think that not having the government forcibly redistribute wealth means that people won’t get any help. It’s not the “help” that is at issue, it’s the government and its forced redistribution.
The church has always been one such source of help and there are others. Shut down this forced redistribution of wealth by the government and other private aid groups will be there and come online to meet the need.
Again the “help” and giving it, is not the problem or the issue. This over-control of the government is the problem. Cut government back to where it belongs ... back over 100 years ago!
