I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

I have had that solar insolation thing. It’s great in the winter but tough in the summer.

Our windows weren’t such that could be covered.

They don’t always. At one of the recent Saturday homeless outreach events they told us that the previous week a man had frozen to death sleeping in a doorway.

We don’t want to think about how many stepped over him thinking he was still asleep. (shudder)

Although if Stephen King reads this post he’ll have another million seller written by Saturday.

I found the bill for my next mortgage payment. They saved some postage by putting it in the same envelope as the 1099 for the interest.

I’ll pay it tomorrow after I get the email from the bank telling me how much money I have.

Our south-facing windows aren't covered either.

The bedroom windows, on the north side of the house, have drapes.

SJB, I spent the first five years of my life in Alaska, and that was before it was a state...! I lived on an island in the Gastineau Channel and at the age of five, I was taken to the high deserts of Utah, where I spent the next 12 years.

I was too young to know from cold. When we left there, we moved to the Rockies, so I still had to deal with massive amounts of snowfall. I will do it if I have to, but I want the dry heat of the desert! <3

Seriously, I grew up in Orlando. I wanted to see snow all my young life.
