Both quarterbacks have won four super bowls with their teams. Who's the greatest quarterback of all time? Joe Montana or Tom Brady?
Ask us in two years after Brady and Team can no longer use deflated balls.
Pretty sure their record is not going to be as good by then.
Yes.
Bradshaw withstood the Oakland Raiders pass rush and extended plays, which Steve Spagnola proved definitively Brady could not do. Without receivers made open by the necessarily soft pass coverage of the 1990's and beyond, and without the egregious holding now allowed by offensive lineman, Brady would have spent a very significant portion of his career looking up at the sky. As a matter of fact, in Bradshaw's era, there was no such thing as defensive holding by d-lineman. Nor were they called for hands to the face.
Very good counter points!
You make too much sense.
Johnny Unitas :-)

Yep. The best ever.
*In the Superbowl era.
Brady would never have lasted in the era of Otto Graham. [or, for that matter the era of Bart Starr, whose career spanned both.]
I think you can make a pretty good argument to that effect. But there are others like Y.A. Tittle and Otto Graham.
I couldn’t care less. But then, I live in Cleveland.
Staubach was one of my favorites. He is perhaps the earliest great collegiate quarterback that I remember. Played for Navy in the early 1960’s. I think that the greatest college quarterback that I have seen play during that time period (early 1960’s to the present) was Archie Manning. Although an MVP and all-Pro in the NFL, he was actually much better in college.
Brady
Drafted in the sixth round after seven other Quarterbacks
Simpleton. Luck does not carry you to 6 Super Bowls. Luck is when Baltimore won a few years ago in a fluke run. No, 6 Super Bowls with different teammates is remarkable. Sounds like you are jealous.
Two Super Bowl seasons tainted with cheating is the asterisk that will be forever beside Brady. Montana has nothing like that in his career.
If Brady wins another, he will be the quarterback with the most Super Bowl wins. He will also be the quarterback of the NFL team that holds the record for the most fines for cheating in games.
Gee I only can pick from those two?
Someone makes up public school tests I see. :)
Just remember, to break most of Johnny Unitas’s records rules that to be dratmaically changed.
Ryan Leaf.....(ducks)
Tony Romo
New England played with the deflated balls only in the first half, which was their worst half. They played much much better in the second half with properly inflated footballs, so your argument is irrelevant.
Last I checked, football was a team sport. Therefore, the question is stupid.
