From the article:
A former Stanford University swimmer who raced in the 2012 US Olympic trials has been charged with raping an intoxicated, unconscious woman on the schools campus...Prosecutors say the attack happened Jan. 18. Two men riding bikes on campus saw an unconscious woman on the ground with a man on top of her. Turner ran away, but the two bikers chased him down and held him until police arrived. Kainerci praised the Good Samaritans and said they acted because what they saw shocked their conscience.
(Perhaps castration should be reconsidered for convicted perps as a form of pre-empting additional victims)

I thought the article was talking about “bikers,” like the Hell’s Angels, but what it was really talking about were bikers, like Lance Armstrong ... LOL ...

Identical case just wrapped up in Nashville on Tuesday. The yopung men are facing 20 years in jail.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) A jury convicted two ex-Vanderbilt football players on Tuesday of raping a former student, rejecting claims that they were too drunk to know what they were doing and that a college culture of binge drinking and promiscuous sex should be blamed for the attack.

They were not bikers. They were bicyclists.
If they’d been bikers there a good chance the guy would not still be among the living.

My daughter graduated from Stanford last year and was a resident adviser in her dorm. Stanford has had problems of late trying to cover up mistreatment of women on the campus. This is not the first such instance.
