As for 2014, we had a pretty mild summer at my house here in northern Arizona. It got a little warm in Phoenix last summer though. All weather is local.
Wrong premise. Let us start with 10,000 years. Prove it.

Thanks for posting this. I live is rural Canada, and I can assure you that 2014 was a throwback to the early 1960s, when we had 10 foot walls of snow on both sides of the roads, from snow plows winging it back.
It was indeed cold. And a lot colder than usual. All one has to do is compare the 2012 polar ice fields sat photo composites with 2014, and the difference is apparent.
Global warming is a myth. The cycles are ordinary , the usual cycles of the earth as influenced by the Sun.

That is the most butchered URL I’ve ever seen!! How hard is it to copy/paste a URL?

Figure 6 is amazing. Right when the number of reported stations dropped dramatically, the temperature rose dramatically. Obvious evidence of AGW, at least in the way records were kept. Will never ever again for the rest of my life trust a leftist or a government employee. If the ice age returns, these disingenuous fools could end up killing millions for a cheap political advantage. But hey, is that not exactly what they did from 1900 to 1950 ?
I liked the brand new Mikey MannCo manufactured “double hockey stick” graph.
It looked as good as the photo shopped Iranian missile launch image from years back.
” made the ridiculous claim that a single station temperature was representative of a 1200 km radius region.”
Yeah, about that.. Temperature variances within that area can vary wildly by a vast margin.
Sometimes by ten or more degrees.
Looking on a wunderground wundermap with the temp stations option on, you can usually note regional variances.
And how temp will be very different between, oh, the city and thecountry.
Cities have a thing called “heat island effect”.
And most NOAA temp stations are set near...
...pavement, stones, rooftops inside boxes with lit lighting throwing heat.
I've long suspected the relocation of weather stations to major airports has had a hand in creating this "crisis." Currently, NYC's offic weather station is in the middle of Central Park, an 840 acre green oasis. Imagine the panic the alarmists could whip up if they moved the weather station to JFK, a 4,930-acre island of asphalt.
