An excellent adaptation of Philip K. Dicks best novel
After the highway patrolman finishes helping Joe Blake fix a flat tire, the cop offers him a sandwich. Blake is nervous. Hes stuck in the Midwest at the mercy of a police officer and hes carrying illegal cargo.
Blake wants to leave, but he accepts the sandwich. Better not to cause a stir.
As Blake takes the meal, he notices a tattoo on the officers forearma knife through a flower. Blake asks what it means. Oh? the cop says. A soldier so fierce hed kill a rose.
That was you? Blake asks.
A long time ago, he answers. We lost the war didnt we? Now I cant even remember what we were fighting for.
Ash falls from the sky, peppering the two men. What is that? Blake asks.
Oh, its the hospital.
Hospital?
Yeah, the cop says. On Tuesdays they burn cripples the terminally ill. Drag on the state.
This is the 1960s in an alternate timelineanother universe where the Axis powers won World War II. This is Amazons newest show The Man in the High Castle.

And that kind of thing is what Obama science Czar John Holdren wants to bring here.
[He wrote a eugenics paper about how to save the environment we need to murder several million people.]
Scary stuff.
There was an excellent movie from the 1960s about a fictional Nazi occupation of Britain called, “It Happened Here.”
aka. Death Panels.
Where did u watch it?
It’s at your link?
Watched it. Very good. Hope the actors improve a bit, though. Great attention to detail. Seems to be shaping up more as sci fi than alt history.
See “An Englishman’s Castle,” BBC min-series about Nazi-controlled Britain.
The pilot is available from Amazon: just do a search on their site for “The man in the high castle”.
I don’t think you need to be a Prime member.
Remember to vote for it afterwards, if you like it!
I watched it and thought it was pretty good. A little too unrealistic in my opinion but still pretty good.
Thanks ... I’ve been searching for more dystopian themed shows and Philip K. Dick was a schizophrenic and paranoid so his stories are pretty good.
just download it off torrent and dont give AMZN a click point especially with that fag tranny show Transparent
Yes, because it's one of many pilots available for our perusal. The votes/comments matter as that is what decides if any pilot continues on to production.
Back in the 60’s I remember an edition of Life or Look (my parents took both) had an article about a half-baked plan to divide America in the case of a German and Japanese victory. Basically, the Rockies and points west went to Japan and everything east to Germany. I’m not sure it was based on anything more than a fantasy map someone found, but I’ve never been able as an adult to find a copy of the article.
Placemarker for later
There’s this:

I like Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep better than The Man in the High Castle, but to each his own.

Thanks!
