Probably best known for his stint on Hee Haw in the US but he did much more in Canada. He was a laugh. RIP

I watched “Hee Haw” a lot when I was young and what an act he had.
A lot of Canadians came down here over the years to minor acclaim and major acclaim like Lorne Green, Lorne Michaels, Leslie Nielsen, James Doohan of the classic “Star Trek”, not to mention Captain Kirk himself (William Shatner) and the list goes on.
