At The Abortion Clinic, She Had to Reassemble Body Parts to Ensure the Baby Really Died

One of the tasks assigned to some abortion facility workers is to collect and reassemble the body parts of babies killed in abortions; and those assigned to this horrific task are called POC [Products of Conception] technicians.

This job is necessary for the abortion industry because abortionists have to ensure that all body parts are removed from the woman’s uterus. If the body parts are not removed, the woman could get an infection and potentially die. For example, Tonya Reaves died at a Planned Parenthood in Chicago after the abortionist left pieces of placenta still attached to the inside of her womb.

As LifeNews previously reported, former abortionist Beverly McMillan describes what she observed when another abortionist was working in the POC room. She said, “One doctor, when he was in the POC [products of conception] room, would talk to the aborted baby while looking for all the parts. ‘Come on, little arm, I know you’re here! Now you stop hiding from me!’ It just made me sick to my stomach.”

In a recent Facebook post, former Planned Parenthood Director, Abby Johnson, explained more about POC technicians:

When I worked at Planned Parenthood, I was trained to be a POC technician. POC stands for “Products of Conception.” Sometimes, if the staff were feeling funny, we would say that it stood for “Pieces of Children.”

Inside every abortion clinic across the country, someone is tasked to be the POC technician. Their job is to take everything suctioned out of the uterus during an abortion and reassemble the parts of the baby. We did this to ensure that the uterus was empty of all fetal parts. If something was left, it could create a potentially fatal infection for the woman.

You may read this and say, “How could she do this?” The simple and truthful answer is…I don’t know. The only thing I can say is that spiritual blindness is VERY real.

You may say, “I can’t imagine.” No, I assure you that you can’t. You can’t imagine something so gruesome unless you have actually done it. You may say, “I bet they have nightmares.” Yes, “they” do. Nightmares especially come after you leave the industry.

“How can I live with myself” is something you may ask. Well, that’s simple. Because I am forgiven. I am not “hell bound” or any of the other things thrown at me by many prolifers. My sins are forgiven. My slate is clean.

I humbly ask that you sincerely pray for those who have left the abortion industry. Our wounds are deep and many of our scars remain. But NOT ONE person is beyond the reach of Christ.

I’d imagine this “job” is the result of cases like that in NYC decades ago where some “doctor” (Abu Hayad or something like that) did an abortion, and a little girl was born afterwards with one arm (the other had been cut off during the attempted murder). He was some unlicensed back-alley Third world butcher (remember safe & legal?), and simply cut the baby without killing her altogether.

People need to understand that these “workers” really think they are providing a service. Nazis working in death camps didn’t think they went to work every day to kill people; they went to work thinking they were saving the world.

I think they used to. But in the 1990s, that changed:

Ana Rosa Rodriguez
Look at the picture of Ana Rosa Rodriguez on the left. At first glance, she might look like an average little girl to you. However, if you look closely, you’ll notice that this child is missing her right arm. That’s because her arm was ripped off in the process of an abortion on New York’s Lower East Side in October of 1991. Ana Rosa was 32 weeks old at the time of the abortion. It was performed by legal abortionist Abu Hayat. Rosa, Ana Rosa’s mother (who was only 20 years old at the time), had told Hayat that she had changed her mind and didnâ€™t want to go through with the abortion.

“He said that it was impossible to stop, that I had to continue,” Rosa told New York Newsday. According to Rosa, Hayatâ€™s assistants held her down while he sedated her. When she awoke, she was told that the abortion was incomplete and that she should come back the following day. That evening, however, she experienced increasing pain and bleeding. Her mother took her to Jamaica Hospital by taxi, where, five hours later, baby Ana Rosa was born. Aside from the loss of her right arm, Ana Rosa is a perfectly healthy little girl.

As unfortunate as the maiming of Ana Rosa was, she and her mother are very lucky they escaped from Hayat without further injury. Other incidents Hayat, a member of the National Abortion Federation, was involved in:

On September 18, 1990, Hayat performed an abortion on 17 year old Sophie McCoy. The next day she was taken to a hospital and found to have a perforated uterus and sepsis. An emergency hysterectomy was performed, but Sophie developed disseminated intravascular coagulopahty and died on September 26. Sophie’s mother found paperwork for Hayat’s facility in Sophie’s coat pocket. The case was reported to the district attorney and the New York Health Department, but nobody took any action against Hayat
In March 1991, Hayat refused to complete an abortion on Marie Moise after he demanded an additional payment of $500 in the middle of the abortion and Moise’s husband could not pay the $500. He forced the woman to leave the clinic bleeding and with an incomplete abortion. She nearly died from the resulting infection.
There have been several allegations accusing Hayat of sexually assaulting/fondling his abortion patients.

Even though all of the above happened before Ana Rosa’s brush with Hayat, these previous incidents were not considered “serious enough” by New York authorities to take any action against Hayat. The maiming of Ana Rosa may have also gone ignored except that it drew intense media scrutiny. When news broke of Hayat’s arrest in connection with the assault on Ana Rosa, at least seven women called a police hotline to claim he had also botched their abortions.
