Rebekah filmed herself opening the package, in which she found a handwritten note from Swift. “I was thinking about you today, and how you have been there cheering me on in the most thoughtful and creative ways,” Swift wrote to Rebekah, mentioning a video and other posts Rebekah made.
Swift continued, “I got out my paints for the first time in a while today and made you something. I really, really, really hope you like it. I’m not a good painter, but you’re so beautiful and positive, even though you’re dealing with the stress life brings, so I wanted to make you something.”
Swift had painted a picture for Rebekah, and taken a picture of herself painting it. She also enclosed one of her old necklaces, and a check for $1,989 to help with Rebekah’s student loans. Just days earlier, Rebekah had written online about not having a job, having to make loan payments, and “freaking out” under the pressure.

I told my kids that I respect the fact she’s avoided all the stupidity of people in her industry like Bieber and Miley Cyrus, she knows what decent people want (which will keep her popular) and following this path will literally make her worth $ billions some day

I don’t watch those shows, but accounts I’ve read from those who have interviewed her are that she’s polite, very likable and down to earth. She shows up at hospitals to visit and perform for sick kids and visited fans and brought gifts over Christmas. Do you think Madonna would ever bother to do anything like that?
To say that shows that you have not bothered to learn anything about her, and are only reacting to the superficial image you've allowed yourself to see. Sure, she's got a fancy image now, like any star. But that's not who she was or is, it's the PR department making money off her. Sucdh is the music biz.
Your statement is unenlightened and stupid, one I'd expect only from an ignorant ass, but there's no reason to sound like an ignorant ass. Learn something about the young lady's history and accomplishments -- especially the ones before she was a star. She is incredibly talented and smart, among other attributes.
Or if you don't care to learn about her, then please STFU, because you're simply wrong and are slandering a good Christian American woman for no good reason. Thanks.
