Business owner killed, three suspects injured in robbery-gone-bad at Shawnee gun store

My Summary: 4 men tried to rob a mom and pop gun store which caters to women in Shawnee, Kansas just outside of Kansas City. The owners defended themselves and their shop. Robbers were wounded. All were eventually caught. Two were severely wounded enough they were still in the shop when police arrived. Sadly, Jon Bieker, 44, of Gardner, Kansas who co-owned the gun shop with his wife, Becky Bieker, died later at a hospital.

I would not attempt to rob a gun store, unless I had a phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range. If I had one of those, I would feel I could out-gun the owners, because they generally don’t carry that kind of merchandise.

The phrase disgusts me,too. Robbery is a felony, so it “turned bad” the moment the perps decided to do it.

Now “robbery turns good” is when the vics shoot and kill the robber and don’t get hurt themselves. That phrase I could enjoy hearing.

Begs the question, will they get a fair trial and be hung when found guilty after 30 days?

Gun shop suspects possibly connected to string of convenience store robberies

The Johnson County Jail online booking records show four Kansas City men are being detained on suspicion of armed robbery. Two of the suspects will turn 20 years old later this month. One is 19 years old and the fourth is 18 years old.

KCTV5's policy is not to use names or mugshots until suspects are charged.

Less than 90 minutes after the Shawnee shooting, the KCK Police Department sent out a release to the news media asking for the public's help in identifying three suspects in convenience store robberies. The suspects were armed with pistols.

So, no matter how our liberal media pretend to present fair and balanced news, even when police are "asking the public if they have 'any information' to help solve this (or any other crime) murder," unless it involves a white male, preferably TEA party activist, nothing will be shared other than the color and make of the get-away car!

Law abiding citizens had best not be expecting anything resembling actual facts that cannot be distorted by the libs in charge of "news."
