Five more people who visited Disney theme parks in California last month have fallen ill with measles, bringing the number of cases in the state to a dozen, local health officials said Friday.
Six patients in Orange County have been diagnosed with the illness who visited the local theme parks last month, and only one was fully vaccinated against the disease, said Nicole Stanfield, a spokeswoman for the countys health care agency

My guess would be ...Imported from Mexico.
Is Disney ‘on board’ with hiring a certain quota of illegal aliens? This unexpected influx of those never before vaccinated may account for the outbreak.
No matter who brought it, if the granola crunchers got their kids vaccinated, no outbreak.
Oh without a doubt it certainly is.
Their parents are idiots for not having them vaccinated.

Educated, yet taking the word of a bimbo whose only claim to fame was taking her clothes off in public.
I worked at the Anaheim Theme Park, 1990-2001. There was a group of illegals that fraudulently obtained employment, and it really hit the fan, when it came to light. All Cast Members (employees) had to re validate their credentials, and those docs were scrutinized with extreme care.
On the other hand, instances of illness was quite common, due to the amount of people visiting, that had been on the other side of the world, literally, within the past 24 hours, bringing new types of germs, with them. Fortunately, I worked in an office, so was not as exposed, but I still found myself getting some ailment, every six weeks, or so.
My doctor told me that, in that environment, I should be sanitizing, or washing with soap, and hot water, every 30 minutes, or so. I thought it was a bit extreme, but guess what, I only got sick about once a year, from that point, on.
That would be accurate and I should modify what I said.
Their parents are child endangering idiots.
Sometimes the best way to stay healthy is also the simplest; plain old soap and hot water. Antibiotics are useful, but in moderation. Teachers go through the same thing on a much reduced scale of risk.
Interesting - and glad the trip my family planned to Disneyland during that time period fell through.
My daughter was allergic to the vaccine base so had to have the shot given to her over about a 6 hour time period in small doses. 10 years later, her blood showed she had no resistance to measles so her pediatrician gave her a shot on the spot - with no allergic reaction, Thank God.
I had the measles as a child but after the birth of my son, I was told I had no immunity against measles and was given the shot within two hours of his birth (hurt like the dickens).
My daughter’s allergist said everyone should get vaccinated b/c virulent strains of measles were coming in from Southeast Asia - and in my case, a case of the measles didn’t give me lifetime immunity
They’re just infecting the people that Americans are unwilling to infect themselves.
My guess would be modern young idiotic progressive parents not getting their kids vaccinated because they have heard health quacks saying vaccines cause autism.
Nobody knows what causes autism, although it is most certainly not vaccines, but these people all listen to hippie loony quacks who preach that “sugar is poison,” blah, blah, blah.
Unvaccinated kids have actually been a big problem in exclusive private schools.
plain old soap and hot water
Kept a very small bottle in my pocket, so if I had to be in the Park, and no facilities were immediately available, I would use that. A good one - two punch, so to speak.
Thanks for your reply !
There are so many now on this site that believe vaccinations are pointless. What, are they living in the dark ages or are they so wrapped in their conspiracies that they cannot see the benefits of modern medicine? Smallpox has been eradicated due to vaccinations. I still have my scar from such from 50,s. Glad I got it.
.
We really need to open the borders all the way. That way we can all share the experience of measles and Ebola.
Not to mention Polio vaccinations that also eradicated that disease.
